Project overview
The Framework is a SaaS platform that helps wedding photographers build accurate wedding-day timelines together with their couples. Couples complete a guided intake covering names, venues, ceremony time and portrait preferences, and the platform generates a full schedule the photographer can refine block by block. The builder accounts for sunset and golden-hour light, travel between venues and parallel getting-ready tracks, and flags overlaps before the wedding day. Photographers and couples message each other in the app, and the finished timeline exports as a branded PDF.

The challenge
The Planning & Coordination Gap in Wedding Photography
Photographers were building timelines by hand in documents and email threads, repeating the same work for every wedding. Key challenges included:
Timelines were rebuilt from scratch for each couple, with details scattered across email, text and shared documents.
Schedule conflicts and poor light for portraits were often discovered on the wedding day instead of during planning.
Couples and photographers edited separate copies, so nobody was sure which version was current.
The solution
A Shared, Light-Aware Timeline Workspace
A real-time planning workspace was built around the timeline, the tool photographers use every day. Key features include:

Smart Timeline Builder
Drag-and-drop schedule blocks with parallel prep tracks, pinned anchor events, travel-time hints, sunset and golden-hour awareness, and automatic overlap warnings.

Real-Time Couple Collaboration
A guided intake wizard, in-app messaging with typing indicators, live-sync status and an edit lock that stops two people changing the same timeline at once.

Subscriptions & Admin Portal
Stripe-powered subscriptions with an admin portal for users, weddings, subscriptions and monthly recurring revenue.
