About the project

Project overview

EbizDash is an AI-assisted catalog platform for Shopify merchants who source products from many vendors. A vendor file in CSV, Excel, XML or JSON moves through a fixed pipeline: column mapping, dual Shopify and Google taxonomy, cleanup, AI enrichment, validation, approval and release to Shopify and Google Merchant Center. AI writes titles, descriptions and SEO text using the merchant's own AI key, but every change stays a reviewable proposal and product URLs are locked so live search rankings are never broken. Snapshots before every approval and release mean any catalog state can be previewed and restored.

The challenge

The Vendor Data Gap in Multi-Supplier E-commerce

Merchants selling from several suppliers received product data in inconsistent formats and quality, and getting it live safely was slow, manual work. Key challenges included:

  • Every vendor sent different columns, categories and file formats, so each feed was cleaned and mapped by hand in spreadsheets.

  • Vendor titles and descriptions were thin or missing, which hurt conversions and Google Shopping approval.

  • Bulk uploads could overwrite live products, change URLs and lose search rankings, with no easy way to undo a bad import.

The solution

A Stage-Tracked Catalog Pipeline With Human Approval

A pipeline was built where AI does the heavy lifting, people make the decisions, and the live store is protected at every step. Key features include:

  1. 01

    Multi-Format Feed Import & Mapping

Imports CSV, Excel, XML and JSON feeds in chunks, suggests column mappings with AI and remembers each vendor's layout, then maps products to both Shopify and Google product categories.

  2. 02

    Bring-Your-Own-Key AI Enrichment

Writes titles, descriptions, SEO fields and tags through OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or OpenRouter, reuses approved work to save cost, and keeps every change as a proposal with confidence and reasoning.

  3. 03

    Validation, Approval & Safe Release

Blocks compliance and Google Merchant Center problems, offers one-click AI fixes, previews exactly what a release will change, and snapshots the catalog before every approval and sync.
